Shabir Shah, the Separatist leader and Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) chairman was arrested from his residence in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar. He was already under house detention for a very long time.The reason behind his arrest is yet to be known.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday arrested seven Separatists over money laundering charges, for funding terror in the Kashmir Valley.
Altaf Shah, Ayaz Akbar, Peer Saifullah, Mehraj Kalwal, Shahid-ul-Islam, Naeem Khan and Bitta Karate all the seven separatist leaders were sent to 10-day NIA custody yesterday.
