In Kanksa area of Burdwan district of West Bengal, a road accident took place in which Maruti van collided with the truck. In the incident, seven people lost their life while others suffered injuries.
The people were coming back after seeing a fair organised in Patharchapuri area. The police are investigating the matter.
The driver of the truck is yet to be traced as he is on the run.
