In the women's single finals of World Badminton Championships held in Glasgow yesterday, the Indian player PV Sindhu settled for a Silver medal as she lost in front of Japan's Nozomi Okuhara.
The Indian shuttler lost to Okuhara by 19-21, 22-20, 20-22 in a match that lasted for 110 minutes.
In 2016 Rio Olympics Sindhu had defeated the Japanese. Now, She has become the only second Indian to reach the finals of World Championship after Saina Nehwal.
