The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has given recognition to the All India Tennis Association (AITA).
The AITA's recognition was put on hold due to non-compliance with the contentious Sports Code.
The Sports ministry was disagreed by the AITA's decision to continue with the then chief Anil Khanna rather than conducting new elections.
