In a match of the ongoing World Badminton Championships yesterday the Indian player Kidambi Srikanth defeated his opponent Lucas Corvee of France to enter in the third round of the championships.
He thrashed him by 21-9, 21-17 in a one-sided clash that lasted just a few minutes more than half an hour.
In the next match, he will face Anders Antonsen of Denmark for a place in the quarter-finals. In the women's singles event India's Tanvi Lad faced defeat in front of Sung Ji Hyun.
