In the fifth day of the 7th Junior National Hockey Championship 2017 ( Men) 'A' Division at Aishbagh Stadium in a match at a Pool A the Steel Plant Sports Board defeated the Mumbai Hockey Association Ltd by 9-0.

In the halftime, only the  Steel Plant Sports Board was up by 5-0 and maintained the lead till the end. Shilanand Lakra scored a superb hat trick (7', 9', 12', 52') in the emphatic win for Steel Plant Sports Board.

In Pool B, Hockey Maharashtra beat Hockey Himachal by 9-4.Taleb Shah (14', 32'), Ajinkya Jadhav (18', 30) and VenkateshKinche (63', 64') wrapped up a superb game for Hockey Maharashtra.
