Chennai: According to sources, the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa still continues to be on respiratory support and is largely conscious. Doctors have said that, for the progress in her current health affair, CM needs a stay of some more days in hospital to undergo proper treatment as well as she will be able to speak only after a tracheostomy tube or breathing tube will be removed.

"Amma (Jayalalithaa) has progressed very well under the daily monitoring of Apollo Hospital doctors and specialists and soon she will return home," AIADMK spokesperson CR Saraswathy said.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister was hospitalised on September 22 with the complaints of fever and dehydration and since then the CM has been there.
