A week ago IMC (Indore Municipal Corporation) had won the legal battle against the Waghmare family , who were continuously refusing to hand over the land to IMC for the expansion of BRTS (Bus Rapid Transit System).

On Tuesday, IMC marked that land is on their possession so they cut down the tree and also started construction of boundary wall. Along with this acquisition IMC will remove the Free Press house and the Shreemaya will be removed too, right now road is 100feet wide which will further get broadened upto 200feet.

Gaud said along with of broadening of road, foot path and cycle track will be constructed too. Mayor Malini Gaud had inspected the land on Tuesday evening, Waghmare family asked for granting the certificate to the appreciation of land.

Gaud replied "We had won the case in the court so no certificate will be given, visit was courtesy call. " The petitions were further moved by court about the widening of road in Indore and Bhopal. Before this there were thirteen petitions which were rejected by the court. Those all acts faced 306, 305 and 387 of ultra vires.
