1- First of all meditate on Lord Shiva in your mind.

2- After that, fill a clean water in a copper vessel, now tilak on this with sindoor.

3- Chant On indra Nama: and tie mouli on the copper vessel.

4- Now chant panchakshari mantra om namah Shivay and offer rose petals on the shivalinga.

5- At the last, offer water on Shivalinga. keep in mind that the thin edge of the water should be offered to Shiva.

6-Chanting Om Trilokinathaya Swaha Mantra while offering water to Shivaji.
