It is important to meditate and follow some of the necessary things while eating food. The food is considered as sacrament. This is why it is said to be bowed before eating and thanking your Ishtadeva that they have given us enough food.

If we take care of these things while eating, then we can remain powerful and healthy for a long time. There are some things related to eating in Vishnu Purana, which are very beneficial for us to take care of. So let's know some things that are very fame for us.

1. Before eating, you should wash your mouth, hands and feet properly, after that you should sit down to eat. If food is shared with your family then it is better.

2. It is said that the cooking process is good for 2 hours after sunrise and up to 2:30 hours before sunset, hence it is time to eat food on time.

3. Do not talk while eating. While eating food should be chewed well. 4. After eating, one should go walking a little bit. After walking, you should sleep on the left side of the bowel and it quickly digested food.
