Veteran social networking company Facebook has decided to stop publishing advertisements to make profits on fake reports and counterfeit information, which regularly share fake reports. 

According to a report by the website 'TechCrunch', any news on the social media platform will be marked as disputed news, then the links to that news will stop getting ads served by Facebook. For this, Facebook has joined hands with the website 'Snops' and 'AP' which investigates the authenticity of the news. 

Facebook has taken many important steps in this direction in the last one year, which has caught criticism for circulating fake news affecting the election during the Presidential election in the US.

Facebook's product director Rob Lathnen said, "Facebook is trying to deal with this in three ways: by eliminating the economic benefits of those who post the first fake news, the second is too slow down the spread of fake news and third such When the fake news came out, the person related to him and provided the news / information."

Facebook has said that this ban on advertising to spread the fake news is not permanent. Facebook says, "If a page is closed on the fake news, then they can get the ads again."
