After riding on roads, Uber is planning to fly high in the sky. On Friday afternoon, Uber announced that now it is going to focus on airport travel experience for further improvement. This improvement is done on both the sides from a rider and as well as driver’s side in India.

"Uber is now available at all of the top 20 airports in India and at more than 200 airports globally, with a presence at almost all major US and European airports," said Amit Jain, President, Uber, India and South Asia in a statement.

"Visitors from over 70 countries have used Uber in India while Indian travellers are using their Uber app most frequently in the US, followed by United Kingdom, Singapore, United Arab Emirates and Malaysia," Jain added.

Last week Uber under the "UberSHAAN" initiative, argued with the ex-servicemen. The main motto of the argument is to increase the entrepreneurship opportunities with those companies who are our driving partners. Ministry of Defence is now partner with the Uber to facilitate interested personnel join the Uber platform as driver entrepreneurs.

"UBERSHAAN programme is all about empowering these individuals to support their families and provide an opportunity for people to get to know India's veterans better," Uber founder and CEO Travis Kalanick told reporters during his Delhi visit.

In 2016, the company expanded itself with two new cities named Lucknow and Ludhiana. And expanded its  "uberPOOL" facility to four new cities those are Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Chennai.
