Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh government will be going to make Driving licences application online from October 1.
Transport Minister directed all the Regional Transport Office's (RTO) to obey with the new system without fail. The act is aimed at reducing graft in the licensing process.
Officials of Unnao, Hardoi, Lakhimpur Kheri, Rae Bareli, Fatehpur, Sitapur, Kanpur rural, Etawah, Farukkhabad, Kannauj, Banda, Manure, Firozabad, Badayun, Etah, Rampur and Shahjahanpur were asked by the Transport Commissioner K Ravindra Naik to convene the October 1 deadline for the online registration process.
