Vice President Ansari says Poland supports India's bid for NSG and UNSC membership

Hamid Ansari, the Vice President after having delegation level talks with the polish Prime Minister Beata Szydlo addressed the media.

He said "Happy for Poland's support for India's claim for permanent membership of expanded UN security council,"

He further said that "I appreciate support extended by Poland to India's membership of MTCR and membership of NSG"

He further said that Poland agrees with India on early adoption of Comprehensive Convention on International Terrorism (CCIT) at the UN.

The India earlier had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Poland in the field of agriculture.
