Virendra Sehwag Leads Tributes For Late Astronaut Kalpana Chawla

Virender Sehwag along with Vijender Singh and Mohammad Kaif paid tributes to late Indian-American astronaut Kalpana Chawla on her 55th birth anniversary.

Ms Chawla passed away in 2003 in the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster. The shuttle disintegrated over Texas during re-entry into Earth’s atmosphere. 

She first went to space in 1997 and today would have marked her 55th birthday. 
Tributes are pouring in for Kalpana Chawla by several Cricketers of India. 

Virendra Sehwag Tweeted "Tributes to #KalpanaChawla on her birth anniversary. Always an inspiration and symbol of courage and strength." 

"Tributes to India's immortal daughter #KalpanaChawla!Will always remain an inspiration for young girls to dream for the stars & reach them!" tweeted Mohammad Kaif.

​"Naman to #KalpanaChawla, born in Karnal and the first woman of Indian origin in space, on her birth anniversary. A Star forever," wrote Vijender Singh.
