World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar Jinder Mahal has been riding a wave of success in recent times as he is still WWE champion. Not only is he the first wrestler of Indian descent to be crowned the 'WWE Champion', as well as the 50th wrestler overall, but he has successfully defended it and continues to hold the belt nearly five months after winning it.

His latest win, defeating Shinsuke Nakamura in a singles match at the 'Hell in a Cell' pay-per-view, is his latest in a series of achievements that have transformed his status in the company from a mid-card wrestler to someone in the elite league. The 'Modern Day Maharaja' currently in India, this being his first trip to his native country since his rise to WWE stardom. Mahal is set to return to the country for two WWE live shows that will take place in New Delhi on 8 and 9 December. He will be headlining these events, putting his title on the line when he faces Kevin Owens for the first time in his career, Mahal talks about the challenges while trying to enter the industry, the 'Attitude Era', what it feels like being a champion and even describes the likes of The Great Khali and The Chairman of WWE Vince McMahon in a rapid-fire round.
