New Delhi: As per the trump card played by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the nation is getting weaker day by day due to terrorism, black money and corruption. So, he took a major step to abolished Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 currency notes.

But, no need to worry, Here are steps for what you need to do with Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes:

  1. Deposit them at the bank or post office from November 10 to December 30
  2. Exchange the notes from a bank or post office till 24 November. The limit for exchange is Rs. 4000
  3. Take Aadhaar card and Pan Card when you go to exchange notes.
  4. After December 30, these can be deposited at the Reserve Bank with a declaration
  5. Tourists can change the notes at airports

Petrol Pumps and government hospitals, Railway, airline, government bus  ticket booking counters,Consumer co-operative stores run by state or central government, Milk booths authorized by state governments, Crematoriums and burial grounds will accept the Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes till November 11.
