The team of the film Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson, director S Shankar, music composer AR Rahman and producer Allirajah Subaskaran of Lyca Productions, addressed the media at Burj Al Arab, Dubai.

Rajinikanth said, “Nobody pays me to act in my real life. So I am simple.” Akshay Kumar replied about his experience working with Rajinikanth, “I have to do five more films with Rajinikanth to learn a lot more from him.”

Director Shankar, about making a sequel said, “We haven’t made 2.0 for the sake of sequel, our film will encourage 3D films in India.”

“I was mesmerised when I saw the first shot in 3D on the screen. I was repeatedly watching it,” said Rajinikanth.

Akshay Kumar, talking about the upcoming music launch, promised an “epic” event. “Gear up for the music event of @2Point0movie, it’s going to be nothing less than EPIC!,” he tweeted.

Rajinikanth quoted about 2.0 is going to be India’s most prestigious film saying, “It is going to be India’s most prestigious film. It will not only attract Indian audiences but will also equally appeal to all overseas film buffs.”

AR Rahman right before the music launch said, “There’re three songs in the album. Two tracks will be released tomorrow and the remaining one, later. As we approach the background score, we may have more bit tracks added to the OST.”
