Nine forms of Goddess Durga are worshipped during the nine days of Navaratri. Navaratri, the holy festival of worshipping nine forms of Mother Durga has started. In these nine days, the nine forms of Goddess Durga have been worshipped.

The nine forms of Goddess:
Sailaputri शैलपुत्री
Brahmacharini व्रह्मचारणी
Candraghanta चन्द्रघण्टा
Kusamanda कुशमाण्डा
Skandamata स्कन्दमाता
Katyayani कात्यायनी
Kalaratri कालरात्री
Mahagauri महागौरी
Siddhidatri सिद्धिदात्री

How to worship: - Lit the lamps, red flowers, laddoo made up of gram flour, banana, red churni. - Offer jaggery dish to the mother. - Offer the yellow flag to Goddess and then tie over your roof. 

Special bhog: Grind coconut and mix it in sugar syrup and make ladoo of that. - Distribute prasad to people after taking blessings from Goddess.

Goddess will be riding on the elephant at Kalratri. It is said that when the mother comes riding on an elephant, it rains water. The farmers will benefit from it. Rabi crop is sown right now. Farmers sow wheat, maize, millet, different types of pulses and gram from September to December. This time, Mother Durga is giving rain. In such a situation, the farmers' fields will get water and their Rabi crop will be very profitable.
