Chinese consumer electronics company, Xiaomi, is set to launch its first smart bike on Today, as teasers regarding the smart bike flooded the company’s MIUI forums. Three teaser posters were found posted on the forums apparently teasing the smart bike from Xiaomi.
One of the posters showed a brake light beam along with a tire, while the second poster depicted an integrated HUD system displaying speed and distance, which is apparently connected with another smart device via Bluetooth connectivity.
The third poster shows the smart bike with the launch time and date of 2:00 pm on June 23. As the date is only a couple of days away, we should know more details about the latest product from Xiaomi soon enough.
Apart from Xiaomi, LeEco is one other company that sells smart bikes powered by Android OS, and if it really is a smart bike, then Xiaomi will probably extend its product line to another sector.
Knowing Xiaomi from its previous products and specifications, be it the smartphone or the 4K-video capable Mi Drone, the company is well known for placing its products on the cheaper side of the price despite providing a high-end product.
If there was any doubt about the concept, it was washed away when the Mi Drone was launched at almost half the price of the current major player in the market, DJI.
