The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi today ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections hold a joint press conference today in Lucknow after Samajwadi party and Congress alliance.

Highlights of the press conference are below..

1. Rahul Gandhi said that the alliance is made against Prime Minister Narendra Modi politics.

2. Our alliance is the Sangam of Ganga and Yamuna. It is about progress, prosperity, and peace.

3. He said Akhilesh Yadav and I have the personal and political relationship.

4. We want to give a new politics to Youth.

5. He also said that he respects Mayawati Ji.
