Going ahead with the launch of Alcatel Idol 4S, the company is now set to make the windows 10 variant. The android version of Idol 4S was launched earlier this year and now the company is presenting the same for windows aspirants. The handset will be available to purchase from 10th November by T-Mobile and the box will also contain Idol 4S VR goggles within.
As an introductory offer, the buyers will be getting 45 days free of Hulu Plus along with Microsoft Groove Music application free for the trial period of 30 days. They will also receive a free copy of Windows 10 mobile game Halo: Spartan Assault.
The Alcatel Idol 4S (Windows 10) variant looks just like the Android variant but has many differences when it comes to specifications. It features a 5.5-inch HD (1080x1920 pixels) AMOLED display, instead of the QHD display seen on the Android version. The new smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 820 chipset with Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB RAM, instead of the Snapdragon 652 chipset with Adreno 510 GPU and 3GB RAM seen on the previously launched Idol 4S.
The phone will be featuring a 21-megapixel rear camera with touch focus and dual LED flash. At the front, we will be having 8-Megapixel sharp shoot for the clear selfies. The android version holds the 16-Megapixel rear camera so definitely an enhancement.
The Idol 4S (Windows 10) smartphone measures 153.9x75.4x6.99mm,weighs 152 grammes and is backed by a 3000mAh battery, which is rated to charge within 95 minutes via the Quick Charge version 2.0.
