Amazon, the giant online retailing market on Tuesday suffered from the cloud computing issues. The problem was suffered by the US Amazon, however, the reason behind the breakdown is unknown.

Patrick Moorhead, an analyst at Moor Insights & Strategy said, "What’s really surprising to me is that there’s no fallback _ usually there is some sort of backup plan to move data over, and it will be made available within a few minutes."

The company said in the statement, "We are working hard at repairing S3, believe we understand the root cause, and are working on implementing what we believe will remediate the issue.”
