This Lithium based batteries are very volatile, it can explode if gets in touch with moisture or heat. This will happen if you puncture a modern smartphone battery. But this case of the explosion is not as spontaneous as Samsung Galaxy Note 7’s explosion. The height of 50 centimetres is not a very distant from the floor and it's defiantly not a good sign. The user of the phone id shocked by the explosion, and the phone starts emitting smoke and after that, it leads to the fire. The entire vehicle was engulfed in flames.
