S. Kathirassan has won the Tamil remake rights for the film 'Ayyapanam Koshiyum' starring Prithviraj and Biju Menon, well known actors of Malayalam cinema. Along with this, he has produced acclaimed films like 'Adukalam' and 'Jigartanda'. Right now, the latest we are hearing is likely to play lead roles in the Tamil remake of versatile actors Sasikumar and Sarath Kumar. Simultaneously it is rumored that Sasikumar is expected to reclaim the role of Prithviraj and Sarath Kumar will essay the role played by Biju Menon. At the moment, an official confirmation is awaited.

Along with this, Ayyappanam Koshiyum ', the revenge drama, revolves around an ego clash between a police officer named Ayyappan Nair, played by Biju Menon. For your information, let us tell you that a retired sergeant named Koshi Kurian, essayed by Prithviraj, is written and descended by Sachi. While the film was a hit on the screen a month ago and went on to achieve huge success at the box office with a gross of over Rs 50 crore and earned critical acclaim as well.
