The Bharatiya Janata Party today has released the third list of candidates for the Manipur Assembly elections.

Rajen Singh from Lamseng district seat and K. Krishna Kumar from Bishernpur seat will contest for the elections.

Earlier, the BJP has announced the name of 27 candidates and it was approved by the Central Election Commission.

Yesterday, the Congress party released the list of 60 names for the Assembly elections. The BJP has declared 31 candidate name out of which 20 will contest in the first phase of the election while 11 other in the second phase.

The Manipur Assembly elections in two phases are scheduled to held on  March 4 and 8.
