Budget 2017 : Expected Good news for auto sector

Auto, one of the main sector of the economy, which not only contributes to the GDP sustantially but also provides large employment, has also felt the pain of lower demand in response to the withdrawal of a large volume of money.

It is largely expected that the Finance Minister would announce a sting of steps in the Union Budget 2017 to minimise the pain of demonetisation. This year the budget will also be crucial, given the elections in five states, including Uttar Pradesh.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech indicated that farmers, who were hit by the demonetisation, would get some goodies in the budget to compensate for the pain they bore.

There are expectations that the government would take steps to increase disposable income and improve the overall economy . Once the economy begins to recover,  considerable flow with the demand and businesses have put off vehicle purchases post demonetisation.
