The Enforcement Directorate today have been asked by Delhi High court to present its status report on the bail petition of lawyer Rohit Tandon who is in custody for his connection in money laundering case. Justice A K Pathak has asked  ED to file its response before 2 March.

On January 7, the Trail court denied to grant him bail after which he filed a petition against it challenging its decision. From December 29, he is in jail and has urged the court to grant him bail as investigation and interrogation in the matter has been completed.

Apart from Tandon, Kolkata-based businessman Paras M Lodha and Kotak Mahindra bank manager Ashish Kumar in their relation with the Prevention of Money Laundering Act cases are under the custody.
