Delhi police arrested 120 councillors from outside of Kejriwal's home

New Delhi: The Police department today, from outside the house of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has arrested around 120 Bharatiya Janata party councillors who were protesting for release of funds for the sanitation workers salary. 

The workers of East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) are on strike after not getting their salary form the last few months.The protest was headed by the senior BJP councillor Subhash Arya. 

The police officers after removing the protestors took them to the civil lines and Maurice Nagar police stations.
