This one's for all you veg eaters who love cakes to the core. Try this and get high on this chocolate filled eggless cake!!!
Ingredients
- Plain flour – 375 g
- Castor sugar – 375 g
- Salt – 1 teaspoon
- Bicarbonate of soda – 2 teaspoons
- Cocoa powder – 45 g
- Vegetable oil – 180 ml
- Vinegar – 2 tablespoons
- Vanilla extract – 2 teaspoons
- Cold water – 500 ml
Method:
- In a 20 x30 cm greased tin sift flour, sugar, salt,soda and cocoa powder together.
- Make three wells
- Pour oil in one well
- Vinegar in the second well
- Vanilla into the third well
- Pour cold water over each and stir well
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees C
- Bake in the oven for about 30 to 40 minutes, checking with a fork.
- Ice with your favourite frosting.
- Ready and serve
