At Kachar village near Bhind, Madhya Pradesh yesterday a farmer was shot dead and other two suffered injuries when unknown persons fired at them. These persons were involved in sand mining.
Rajendra Verma, the district additional superintendent of police as per the sources news said “Some farmers asked unidentified persons carrying out illegal mining of sand at the bed of Sindh river not to indulge in the unlawful act”
He further added that “Angered at this, the unidentified persons opened fire at the farmers, leaving Ingeg Singh (22) dead. Two other farmers Udal Singh (20) and Rameshwar Singh (25) sustained bullet wounds to their abdomen and leg respectively,”
The police have filed a case of murder against the accused and a search has been launched to arrest them.
