Srinagar: On Friday, National Conference (NC) chief and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Farooq Abdullah praised new generation militants for their sacrifice and courageous fight on the borders.

Farooq, while talking about the sacrifice of Jawan said, "Our youth are giving sacrifices. They don’t want to become MLA, MP or minister. They are rendering sacrifices demanding their rights. This is our land and we are its owners, you are not. This should not be forgotten.”

Abdullah further added, "They have left their homes. Everybody loves his life. Nobody wants to die. But they left their homes to fulfill their promise with God (and they say) 'we will give our lives to make this nation free'.”

Abdullah said that the peace, which J&K talks about can only come back when India and Pakistan will understand this.
