In Western Maharashtra’s Sangli district village the police in a sewer have found around 19 aborted female foetuses dumped. All of which were dumped in blue plastic bags in the district’s Mhaisal village.

The sewer is next to the private clinic where a lady died because of the failed abortion.Dattatray Shinde, the Sangli Superintendent of Police as per the sources news said “So far we have found the remains of 19 female foetuses that were aborted and buried with the intention of disposing of them. “When the villagers suspected something fishy following the woman’s death under mysterious circumstances, they approached police,” 

He also mentioned that the deceased woman was taken to hospital by her her husband Praveen Jamdade for an abortion.Sunil Jadhav, the woman father as per the sources news told the police that  Mr. Jamdade had called him and expressed his willingness to abort the female foetus.

Mr. Shinde as per the sources news said that “Despite Jadhav’s objection, Jamdade went ahead with abortion, which led to the woman’s death,”

A case has been registered against the Mr. Jamdade and doctor.
