The BMC elections are going to held in February and before it the former congress MLA Krishna Hegde and Bollywood actor Dalip Tahil joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and State BJP unit chief Raosaheb Danve.
It happened last night in Mumbai at the official residence of CM at Varsha. Krishna Hegde said "I tried to point out to party leadership about how Nirupam was damaging the party. However, no cognisance was taken of my plea,"
He further said that "I am a second generation Congressman. Nirupam has ruined the party," Congress won't get more than 25 of the total 227 seats in the BMC polls, he added.
