We have heard of people being offered fruits, food, clothes and money as part of their devotional prayer to god and in return to them as the sacrament but have you ever heard of Gold ornaments being offered as "Prasad" as a sacrament? There is a Mahalaxmi temple in Ratlam where Gold is distributed as a sacrament to the worshippers. 

There are days when this temple is turned into as "Kuber ka Darbar" where people visit and pray to Gods.

This temple has huge religious beliefs among devotees and people who receive gold as their sacrament keep it safe in their house as it is trusted that the gold brings prosperity, good health and wealth in their home.
