Tirupati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 104th Indian Science congress in Tirupati's Sri Venkateswara Univeristy's Tarakarama Stadium. While, addressing the meeting he said the government will always support the scientists and scientific institutions.
He said "Our best science and technology institutions should further strengthen their basic research in line with leading global standards. Translating this basic knowledge into innovations, start-ups and industry will help us achieve inclusive and sustainable growth".
He further said that by 2030, India will be among the three countries that will be on top in science and technology.
