Healthy Avocado and Oatmeal Pancake Recipe!!!

An avocado is a unique fruit which is high in healthy fats. It has various health benefits and is an incredibly nutritious fruit. There are many ways you can have an avocado. Whether in a salad, a baked dish, eat it whole or even for breakfast. Here is a recipe you should definitely try out which is Avocado and oatmeal pancakes.

Ingredients (You will need)

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 ¼ cup of oats
  • ½ whole wheat flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup of honey or sugar
  • 1 ½ cup skim or non-dairy milk, whichever is preferable
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Methods:

  • Blend all these ingredients except the avocado. In a bowl mash the avocado and then add it to the mix and blend again. Let it rest for a while.
  • Heat a pan with some olive oil. Use a ¼ measuring cup, add the batter into the hot greasy pan and spread it to make your pancakes.
  • Cook on both sides till you notice bubbles on the pancake. Make sure the inside is cooked through, before getting it on to a plate.
  • You can have it just like that or add some maple syrup or some icing to it and your healthy avocado and oatmeal pancakes are ready to eat.
