Patna: Since the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a decision of demonetization of Rs. 500 notes and Rs. 1000 notes, many leaders opposed it, but Nitish Kumar, Chief Minister of Bihar totally supported the PM’s decision of ban.
On Wednesday, in a winter session of Praliament, Chief Minister of Bihar, expressed his support and said, “Fake notes will disappear" and agreed with the PM’s saying, as he stated previously that, “the reform will attack the roots of black or untaxed money, counterfeited currency and corruption.”
Earlier in the session, Congress leader Anand Sharma said that, “they are not opposed to the reform, but to what they described as the lack of preparation to manage the cash crunch”.
Now, Civilians can swap Rs. 4,500 of old notes with the new ones, as well as upto Rs. 24,000 can be withdrawn per week from a bank account.
