On the day of Holi when everybody was celebrating the festival, a Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) student committed suicide in the evening yesterday in Munirka Vihar area of Delhi.

The 27-year-old was discovered found hanging from the fan at a house of his friend. As per the sources news, the police said the deceased was depressed and they have recovered any suicide note from his and nearby of the body.

On 10th March, in his Facebook post, he wrote "There is no equality in M.phil/PhD admission there is no equality in Viva-voce, there is an only denial of equality. When equality is denied everything is denied.

He came to have food at his friend house and later on he said that he want to sleep and went to the room. He was active in a moment of Justice for Rohit Vermula. The PhD student at the university of Hyderabad killed himself.
