Shimla: Today, the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh was hit by the 3.3 magnitude earthquake. No casualties have been reported so far.

“A tremor of 3.3 magnitude on the Ritcher scale, with a depth of 10 Kms, has been recorded in Kullu District”, said MeT department.

It further added, “although it is a low magnitude earthquake, the impact was felt in Kullu and neighbouring districts like Mandi and Shimla due to its low depth. The is no report of damage so far”.

Mostly, the hilly region in Himachal Pradesh and the native States are earthquake prone areas.
