A team of Scientists from University of Michigan (UM) in the US has developed a robotic arm. Which is very cheap and can perform various functionalities that other arms can do.

This all new Robotic Arm is equipped with a flexible needle, which can stitch inside the body. The new arm will cause less pain to the patient as well as fewer injuries, which can cure the disease before than expected.

An associate professor at UM said, "FlexDex provides the functionality of robots at the cost of traditional hand-held laparoscopic instruments. It will give surgeons a higher degree of dexterity and intuitive control than traditional laparoscopic instruments.”
