New Delhi: In Jamia Nagar area, a Woman who put allegation on a builder for raping her 15-year-old daughter has been shot. She was immediately taken to the AIIMS Trauma Centre where doctors treated her and saved her life.
The incident took place when she was taking her daughter to a hospital. This is when a person whose face was covered started firing on her. The accused fled away from the spot along with the other person.
Police Officer said "Both the cases -- the rape and the shooting incident -- may or may not be related. It is being investigated. A case under Section 307 (attempt to murder) of IPC has been registered,". According to the woman family, she was threatened and warned by the accused for taking back her complaint.
