In Delhi today, the 12th Raising Day celebration of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) will be held. Rajnath Singh, the Union Home Minister will give the Jeevan Raksha Padak and service medals to NDRF personnel.

The NDRF is a force has the caliber to response to any kind of disaster that occur in the country or in foreign. The Union Home Minister on the event will also release the NDRF pictorial book.

Last year, the NDRF has helped in various rescuing operations like train accidents, floods, landslides and another man- made disasters.
