According to the principal Agnelo Menezes the reason is it mocks the poor. He said “TORN CLOTHES ARE WORN BY THE POOR BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO CHOICE, AND ONE CANNOT MAKE IT A FASHION STATEMENT. STUDENTS SHOULD BE A LITTLE MORE PROFESSIONAL IN THEIR APPROACH IN THEIR COLLEGE…

Those Students who come here while wearing these types of denims are sent back home. Even officials don't allow them to wear short and sleeveless clothes inside college premises. Although, students are not happy with decision.
