Chennai leaders to meet PM Modi to talk over an issue, 'Jallikattu ban'

Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam and PMK(Pattali Makkal Katchi) leader and MP leader Anbumani Ramadoss decided to seek appointment from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to talk over an agitated issue, Jallikattu ban.

Previously when, AIADMK politician Sasikala Natarajan wrote letter to PM Modi to ban 'Jallikattu' for the safety of the modest ones. The agitation raised all over the state and citizens started expressing wrath on new law. The protest was to conserve their 'cultural game' and to continue it. People from different cities of Chennai protested against new demand by government.

On Thursday, some students met Tamil Nadu CM Panneerselvam and had a conversation on the issue. The meeting continued for 10 minutes and as they came out of CM house they said that Tamil Nadu CM will meet PM Modi and talk about the ordinance.
