The reports revealed by the CyberMedia Research (CMR) on the survey of the smartphone manufacturers in India alleged that the Samsung and Intex are in the top three manufacturing rank. As per the reports, the survey was based on the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
The reports allege Samsung as a rising star and Intex to be the part of it too. Both the firms are under make in India project and strengthen the domestic selling of the devices. As per the CMR, “48 OEMs and third party manufacturers made mobile handsets in India during Q4, 2016, while the rest 140 ODMs supply to brands selling in India.”
Intex is the lead in the 4K smartphone category, while the Samsung leads the 4K to 8K and 15K to 20K. Not only these two, while several other companies are the part of the OEM are, Asus, Gionee, InFocus, Microsoft, Oppo, and Xiaomi in India.
