The Captain Amarinder Singh today swore in oath as the Chief Minister of Punjab at Raj Bhawan along with other members of Congress party. As he took the oath the Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to Congratulate Capt. Amarinder Singh.

"Congratulations @capt_amarinder on taking oath as CM. Wishing you the very best in working for Punjab’s development” PM Modi in a tweet wrote.

The Governor V.P. Singh Badnore administered the oath of office and secrecy to Singh. The oath ceremony is attended by Former prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi.
