MUMBAI: The police booked a 30-year-old man for harassing and stalking a 24-year-old female school teacher on social media site. He even threatened her mother by calling her up and saying that if she is not not married to him then he would kidnap her and even can throw acid on her.
According to the sources, P D Tele, senior police inspector said Fed up with the harassment, that began around June last year, the woman filed a complaint with Kasarwadavli police on Sunday evening. Subsequently, the man was booked under Sections 354(D)(1)(2) (stalking) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of Indian Penal Code.
The police is further doing the investigation and trying to arrest the man.
