Global investment bank Nomura recently appointed a new head of the firm. As per the reports, Prabhat Awasthi to supersede the current head of the venture Vikas Sharma. The changes will be processed by April 1st, 2017.
Prabhat Awasthi will take over the Indian firm of Nomura from April 1, with fixed income, financing and investments.
The firm stated in a statement, "Vikas Sharma, current Head of India, has been elevated to Head of Asia ex-Japan, also from April 1, following his exceptional work leading and building Nomura’s India business over the past 10 years. Awasthi will report to Sharma."
