The Indian currency depreciated 9 paise today in the morning session against the US dollar. The current standing of the Indian Rupee against Dollar is 66.80. The reason is the apparent demand of the American currency by the importers.
However, the US currency has also depreciated in some other markets of the world due to the polls showing Donald Trump being more favoured over Hillary Clinton.
Yesterday the rupee closed at 8 paisa higher at Rs. 66.71. Meanwhile, the benchmark BSE Sensex plunged by 288.06 points or 1.03 per cent at 27,588.55 in early trade today.
